The Story

Justin was born June 7th, 1983 in Boston, Massachusetts. He graduated Melrose High School in 2001, and moved to southern Vermont where he studied and worked with oil painter Eric Aho. Justin had his first solo exhibition in 2004 with the Great River Arts institute of Bellows Falls Vermont. In the course of 2007, Justin traveled to Portland, Oregon and began working to a degree in printmaking from the Pacific Northwest College of Art.  During this time he had numerous solo exhibitions, and recieved many awards, including the Site-Works Scholarship from the Pacific Northwest College of Art. While attending college Justin also interned with Oregon sculpture Lee Kelly, and contributed to many public artworks commisions. Justin graduated in the winter of 2013, and headed home to New England.  Currently he resides in Brattleboro, Vermont pursuing a career as a professional artist, and exhibiting nationally.
